Yes and No! The controller works with any bipolar (4-wire) stepper motor and can provide up to 1.5A current. The current is adjustable but you’ll need a multimeter and a small screw driver to adjust the current (0.3A – 1.5A)
The controller is not compatible with unipolar (5-wire) stepper motors.
When you by a stepper motor (for example from Amazon) it usually comes with a 4-pin female connector OR just loose-end wires. The controller has a simple 4-pin male connectors to use with the 4-pin female connector type. But for the loos-end wires you’ll need to attach a connector. So we recommend buying motors that come with the female connector.
