The MT6-5 is a versatile six-axis powered stepper motor controller designed for camera motion, object motion, stop motion, timelapse, and automated imaging workflows. Six built-in motor drivers let you connect and control motion-control hardware directly, while dedicated physical controls make it easy to jog individual axes, set positions, and run programmed moves without relying on a computer for standalone operation. From cinematic camera moves and practical effects to photogrammetry, focus stacking, and repeatable product imaging, the MT6-5 brings multiple motion-control and capture workflows together in one compact system.

Five Working Modes

• Dragonframe / DMC-Lite — Six-axis powered control for Dragonframe motion-control workflows.
• Motion Setup & Real-Time Move — Jog all six motors, set positions, adjust movement, and run repeatable multi-axis moves.
• Timelapse — Create programmed multi-axis moves synchronized with interval-based camera triggering.
• Stop Motion — Execute precise incremental moves synchronized with frame-by-frame capture.
• Batch Imaging — Automate repeatable imaging sequences for photogrammetry, product imaging, focus stacking, 3D scanning, and other multi-position capture workflows.

Triggering & Expansion

• STP/DIR signal outputs for using CH1, CH2 & CH3 with external motor drivers
• Camera trigger output
• AUX / trigger output for lights, relays, pneumatic devices, and other equipment
• Trigger input to RUN a programmed move for integration with camera robots and external systems
• Programmable triggering within automated motion and imaging sequences

Power & Connectivity

• 12–36V DC input
• Six powered RJ45 motor outputs (to motors per RJ45 connector)
• USB connection for Dragonframe and computer/app communication
• RJ45 for External STP/DIR outputs and dedicated camera/AUX/trigger connections

The MT6-5 can operate as a standalone motion controller, a Dragonframe-powered controller, or part of a larger automated imaging or motion-control system, allowing the same controller to move from stop-motion and tabletop production to product photography, photogrammetry, timelapse, and live-action motion control.
